FREE SUMMERTIME FUN!

 

The St. Louis City Department of Parks and Recreation offers free access to recreation/community centers, parks, and swimming pools.

They also offer free summer day camps and sports camps.

DAY CAMPS

The St. Louis City Recreation Division operates seven, one-week sessions from Monday, June 8th to Saturday, July 25th. Day camp activities include sports, arts & crafts, games, fishing, swimming, tennis, field trips, & special events.

Kids ages 4 to 6 attend camp from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

Kids ages 7 to 12 attend camp from 9:30am to 4:00pm.

SPORTS CAMPS

The St. Louis City Parks Department operates a series of sports camps beginning Monday, June 8th and ending Friday, July 31st. Sports offered include tennis, football, soccer, and basketball.

·         Mondays & Wednesdays, June 15 to July 30, at Fairground Park from 6:00pm – 7:30pm 

·         Mondays & Wednesdays, June 15 to July 30, at Willmore Park from 6:00pm – 7:30pm 

·         Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 15 to July 30, at Carondelet Park from 6:00pm – 7:30pm 

 

Football:

·         June 8 – 12 at Penrose Park from 9:00am – 12:00pm

·         June 15 – 19 at Fairground Park from 9:00am – 12:00pm

·         June 22 – 26 at Leisure Park (12th & Park) from 9:00am – 12:00pm

 

Soccer:

SWIMMING POOLS

The St. Louis City Recreation Division operates seven pools that provide free swimming lessons and special events such as water aerobics, senior citizens swim events, lap swimming, and certain times that are open to adults only.

Call your local swimming pool location for hours of operation.
